BNSF Promises To Fix Bumpy Whatcom Railroad Crossings
Bellingham, Wash. (Metro) -- BNSF Railway has responded with lightning speed to a $105,000 fine from the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission over bumpy and potentially-dangerous railroad crossings in Whatcom County.
It says it will make repairs by the end of next month.
Earlier, the Commission told "The Bellingham Herald" it had warned the railroad about the crossing, but, 'wasn't getting much response.'
