Robbers Assault Teen With Vodka Bottle

Ferndale, Wash. -- Two Lummi men are facing robbery charges after police say they stole bottles of vodka from a Ferndale Haggen and then used one of the bottles to assault an employee.

20-year-old Eric Robinson and 19-year-old Tytan Jameson allegedly walked out of the store Sunday evening with four bottles of Grey Goose.

Ferndale Police Lieutenant Bill Hatchett says a teenage employee chased the men down, when Robinson hit the teen in the shoulder, breaking his arm.

The two men got into a van and tried to get away, but an officer stopped them two blocks from the store.

Lieutenant Hatchett says Robinson threatened to stab the employee, but no weapons were found.

Both men were booked into Whatcom County Jail.
