Victim’s Name Released In Willeys Lake Road House Fire



Lynden, Wash. -- Authorities have released the name of the man who died in a house fire near Lynden over the weekend.

72-year-old Walter L. Wynne was found dead after a possible electrical fire at his home on Willeys Lake Road Saturday night.

Whatcom County Medical Examiner Dr. Gary Goldfogel says Wynne died of smoke inhalation and the manner of death was accidental.
 
The Whatcom County Fire Marshal's office is investigating exactly what caused the fire.
