Insurance Commissioner Calms Meteorite, Space Junk Fears

Olympia, Wash. (Metro) -- Washington's Insurance Commissioner says your homeowners insurance probably covers damage from meteorites and space junk.

Mike Kreidler's message follows last week's meteorite landing in Russia that left countless windows broken and hundreds of people injured.

Kreidler says the Insurance Information Institute studied this about two years ago.
