Inslee Proposes Job Creation Plan

Olympia, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Governor Jay Inslee announced a plan he hopes will help make a dent in Washington's unemployment rate.

The governor's $120 million job-creation plan gives tax breaks for businesses hiring military veterans and for startup companies in various fields.

The plan calls for adding money to better train workers, including those in the aerospace industry.

Inslee says the plan can be paid for by the $144 million in savings he expects the state to realize from the implementation of federal health-care reform.
