Skagit County Voters Approve School Levy, Bond Measures



Skagit, County  (Metro)  -- Voters in Skagit County approve all bonds and tax levies contained on the ballot in the February special election. 

The items include the levy request for the Concrete School District, which is favored by 64 percent of voters, according to the latest returns. 

Bond issues from both the Conway and La Conner school districts passed with 65 and 69 percent, respectively. 

Officials say turnout for the special election was about 40 percent.
