Democrats Turn Up Heat On Tom, Sheldon

Olympia, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Washington's Democratic Party is continuing what "The Seattle Times" calls a public-relations attack on the two Democratic state Senators who helped swing control of the state Senate to minority Republicans this year.

In an email, Chairman Dwight Pelz says Senators Rodney Tom of Medina and Tim Sheldon of Potlatch have betrayed the party.

Last week, the party censured the two and said they'd get no more campaign money.
