Auto Giant Buys Volvo Dealership

Bellingham, Wash. -- Bellingham’s King Volvo is being bought by a northwest auto giant.

Proprietor Frank King announced this week he has struck a deal with Rairdon Automotive Group to purchase his 18-year-old business.

The announcement comes as King finalizes plans to retire and turn over the keys to his Nissan business to nearby Wilson Motors on March 1.

Wilson motors co-owner, Julian Greening says while the dealership will assume the name Wilson Motors Nissan, they intend to retain all employees.

Frank King says Rairdon will likely make some logistical changes between its Iowa street stores after the sale, but is confident the current staff will remain in place.
