Inslee Says Senate Republicans Are Going Backwards

Olympia, Wash.  (Metro)  -- In his first comments on this year's state Legislature, new Governor Jay Inslee says minority Republicans who now control the senate are simply going backwards.

Inslee says they're doing so by trying to restrict worker's compensation and clean energy.

He also criticized a bill that would require teens to tell their parents if they plan an abortion.

"The Olympian" says Inslee is stopping short of veto threats.
