Seattle, Wash. (Metro) -- Boeing Co. says it will stick with the lithium-ion battery technology that grounded its 787 Dreamliner. CEO Jim McNerney said quote, "nothing that we have learned has told us that we have made the wrong choice on the battery technology." Boeing plans to speed up production of the Dreamliner as planned. The company added that the grounding of the Dreamliner is having no significant financial impact on its 2013 forecast. McNerney's remarks came as Boeing posted higher-than-expected profit.
