State Considers Expanding Medicaid



OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Officials here in Washington are moving fast to set up a new health insurance marketplace under federal healthcare reform, but the legislature isn't so sure that the state should also expand Medicaid. 

The proposed expansion would make about 250,000 more low-income adults eligible for the program. 

The Olympian says some Republican lawmakers are concerned about the cost of healthcare reform, period.
