Inslee Optimistic About Partial Washington Marijuana Legalization

OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- After talking with federal officials, Governor Jay Inslee says he's pretty sure that he and other state officials can carry out Washington's partial legalization of marijuana without prompting a challenge from the feds.

Federal law still regards all marijuana as illegal.

Inslee says federal officials are most worried that our state could become a major pot supplier to America.
