Poll For Gun Control Group Finds Support For Background Checks

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The gun-control group Washington Ceasefire says a poll it took recently found that 90-percent of Washington residents want universal background checks on gun buyers.

Washington Ceasefire is now pushing for that and an assault weapons ban here in the state.

The National Rifle Association has said neither is going to happen, at least not nationally.

KING-TV has more on the Washington Ceasefire poll.
