Teachers To Rally In Opposition To MAP Assessment Tests

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Seattle teachers who are refusing to give Measure of Academic Progress, or MAP, tests are now ready to rally to push their cause.  

KING-TV says they'll meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday at school district headquarters. 

This comes with word that teachers in other states are also calling the tests a waste of time. 

The Seattle Education Association is backing the local teachers.
