OLYMPIA, Wash. (Metro) -- Several Democrats in the state Legislature are working to make sure that abortions stay covered by insurance when federal healthcare reform eventually takes full effect.
They note that the Affordable Health Care Act doesn't require coverage of abortions, so they're supporting the Reproductive Parity Act over the objections of many Republicans.
The Olympian says all state health plans are covering abortions for now.
