Cold Snap Surprises Seattle-Area Forecasters, Stays A Little Longer

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The nearly three week old Seattle cold snap and its stagnant air were supposed to start leaving the Puget Sound area late Monday night, but instead, it's been colder and foggier this morning.

Some of last night's fog even caused flight delays of up to 30 minutes at Sea-Tac Airport.

Forecasters still say temperatures will rise as much as ten-degrees today, but, except for a little rain, things will stay unusually dry.
