Another Lewis-McChord Soldier Dies In Afghanistan



JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash.  (Metro)  -- More Joint Base Lewis-McChord soldiers are being killed in action in Afghanistan.  

The latest to die is 25-year-old Sergeant David J. Chambers of Hampton, Va. 

As in almost all such cases, the cause of death was an improvised explosive device. 

The Army says Chambers had been decorated numerous times and was on his second deployment. 

He was a member of the Fourth Stryker Brigade.
