SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- Liberal and religious groups are getting ready to counter a planned Gun Appreciation Day in Seattle and elsewhere two days before President Obama is sworn in for his second term.
"Seattlepi.com" says Washington Cease Fire, the Church Council of Greater Seattle and Plymouth Congregation Church will sponsor a demonstration against gun violence this Sunday at the Seattle Center.
President Obama has indicated he will push hard for more gun control following the Connecticut school shootings.
