Trio Hurt When Vehicle Crashes Into Pole



Bellingham, WA -- A one car accident West of Lynden left three young people injured late on Christmas Day.

The Washington State Patrol reports that 18 year old Troy Postma of Lynden was driving Southbound on Sunrise Road approaching Birch Bay Lynden Road whe he lost control of the vehicle and it veered off the roadway and struck a pole.
Postma, an 18 year old passenger and a juvenile in the car were all injured and transported to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center. 

State Troopers say alcohol wasn't a factor in the accident, but that charges are pending.
