Mudslides Continue To Block Passenger Trains Between Seattle And Everett



SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Buses continue to fill in for Amtrak and Sounder trains between Seattle and Everett as mudslides literally cascade down on  the BNSF Railway tracks they use. 

Buses are substituting for Amtrak trains between Seattle and Vancouver, BC and for Sounder commuter trains between Seattle and Everett. 

Amtrak's Empire Builder to and from Spokane, the Twin Cities and Chicago is originating and terminating in Everett for now.
