Fast Food Restaurant Holds Benefit For Lynden Charity

LYNDEN, Wash. -- Lynden's Project Hope got a boost this holiday season thanks to customers of the Taco Time Northwest Restaurant in Lynden.

The restaurant hosted its 2nd Annual Project Hope Benefit last Tuesday, committing its net sales from the entire day to the local food bank.

The benefit raised $3,000 for the food bank for the second consecutive year.

Project hope has helped local families with basic necessities including nutrition, housing, medical, transportation and clothing needs for 34 years.

Ryan Hanna, general manager of the Lynden Taco Time, said, “It was wonderful to see our neighbors come together to provide for families in need this holiday season.”
