Musicians and members of the Bellingham and Seattle communities will come together Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Bellis Fair Mall food court.
“Songs of Healing Hearts of Hope,” a community song vigil and art project was created to bring people in the northwest together to show support for the victims of the rampage.
Event organizer Kristi Anderson says the public is welcome to arrive an hour early to learn four traditional holiday songs in advance of the vigil.
There will also be an arts and crafts table where people can decorate “Hearts of Hope” that will be sent to Newtown in solidarity.
