Local Gun Sales Brisk, Officials Demand New Assault Weapons Ban

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Sales at Puget Sound area gun stores are brisk this week.

The "Puget Sound Business Journal" says people are stocking up over worries about new gun controls.

KCPQ-TV says Seattle leaders want a statewide initiative to let cities set their own gun rules, and Western Washington's U.S. Attorney, Jenny Durkan, has told KING-TV that the old federal assault weapons ban needs to come back.
