Domestic Assault Ends in Police Stand Off

Bellingham, WA -- Police arrested a Bellingham man for allegedly assaulting his wife.

A Bellingham Police spokesman says 43 year old Kenneth Eagle and his 23 year old wife were driving in Bellingham yesterday when he punched her.

She was able to get out of the vehicle, but Eagle also got out and chased her.

The woman was able to return to the vehicle and drove away, leaving her husband behind.

She later called 911 and officers located Eagle at the couple’s home in the 1300 block of Ellis Street.
