Bellingham Man Attacks Infant

Bellingham, WA -- A 28 year old Bellingham man is in custody after a couple reported that he punched their four month old baby.

A Bellingham Police spokesman says the family was in a restaurant in the 200 block of East Holly Street yesterday when Daniel Bravo walked in and started staring at them.

The couple felt uncomfortable and left the restaurant.

According to police, Bravo then ran after them and hit the baby while the mother held the infant.

He told arresting officers the devil made him “hit the kid.”

The baby was taken to the hospital for treatment.
