Sedro Woolley Man Accused Of Making Threats On Facebook

SEDRO WOOLLEY, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Authorities say a 19-year-old Sedro Woolley man has been arrested after he was accused of posting messages on Facebook, threatening to "shoot up every school within a 100 mile radius."

Officials say Korry Martinson had been on the run from police after allegedly posting the threat Friday on his Facebook page, which said he'd carry out the plan if his gun rights were taken away as a result of last week's massacre at a Connecticut school.

Police say Martinson fled his home after his mother confronted him about the Facebook message.

Sedro Woolley police say Martinson turned himself in yesterday afternoon, and was booked for investigation of felony harassment.
