Heart To Be Inducted Into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

CLEVELAND, OH  (Metro)  -- Rock band Heart, who got their start in the Seattle area, are to be among next year's inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The band, led by Ann and Nancy Wilson, will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame along with Rush, Public Enemy, Randy Newman, Donna Summer, and Albert King.

Ann Wilson tells "Rolling Stone" magazine that she "wasn't sure this was real" when she received the news of Heart's induction.
The band, who recorded a string of hits in the 1970s and 80s and had a number of multi-platinum albums, have continued to tour frequently.
