BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A Western Washington University student was assaulted as she walked along Bill McDonald parkway last night. A campus alert reports the woman was walking from Sehome Village toward the campus at 9:15 p.m. when a man grabbed her from behind and groped her. She screamed and the man fled eastbound on the parkway. The student described him as a male of medium build, wearing a gray hoodie with the hood pulled up. He didn’t produce a weapon and the woman wasn’t seriously injured.
