Chris Brown to Taliban costume critics: 'Get over it'

Chris Brown has defended the Taliban-inspired costume he wore on Halloween following a public backlash, urging his detractors to "get over it."

The R&B star courted controversy last month by attending a Hollywood party dressed as a gun-toting Arab fighter, complete with a fake bushy beard and flowing robe.

However, Brown remains unrepentant and has fired back a defiant defence of his terrorist outfit.

When quizzed about his costume, he said, "I'm so glad you asked me that because I want to tell everybody, I want y'all to listen. Everybody, tune in to the sounds of Chris Brown. Turn all the radios up... It's f**king Halloween! It's a motherf**king pagan holiday!"

"We dress our kids up as Satan, demons, little goblins, and all this other s**t. Get over it, people! I was dressed as the people we killed, the person you killed... (Osama) Bin Laden! I was dressed as the people you killed. It's nobody's motherf**king business! Everybody who really (sic) mad about it, f**k y'all."
