Cops: Boyfriend Beaten With Marijuana Bong

BELLINGHAM, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A 31-year-old man is recovering after police say his girlfriend hit him with a marijuana bong at a home in Bellingham.

The incident occurred early Sunday morning on Pacific Street after an argument escalated.

The 28-year-old woman allegedly spat on the man and then clubbed him on the top of the head with an eight inch glass bong.

She fled the scene before cops showed up.

Police have probable cause to arrest her on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence.
