Woman Injured In Crash On Guide Meridian



BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A Bellingham woman was injured in a single car crash early today.

The State Patrol reports 58-year-old Vickie Moncrieff was driving southbound on the Guide Meridian at about 2:30 this morning when she apparently fell asleep at the wheel and failed to slow down for the roundabout at pole road.

Her vehicle hit the median and rolled over.
She was transported to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center. Moncrieff faces a charge of negligent driving.
