Republicans Leading In 42nd Legislative District

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- In the races to represent Washington’s 42nd Legislative District, both Republicans Jason Overstreet and Vincent Buys had 54 percent leads over their Democratic opponents in last night’s first count of ballots.

Buys says he feel’s good about his lead so far.

Overstreet and buys were at the local Republicans’ election night party at the Rotary Building at the Lynden Fairgrounds.

Overstreet says he’s excited over the initial results.
