The Doors hit new concert DVD to be released as one-night-only movie

A newly-restored film of The Doors' groundbreaking 1968 concert at the Hollywood Bowl is to be released in cinemas for a series of one-night-only screenings after debuting at number one on the Billboard Top Music Video Chart.

Fans will be able to see the concert movie in all its glory on the big screen from 6 November until the end of the month.

Cinemas across North America, throughout Europe and in New Zealand and Australia will screen the film, which features restored camera negatives and audio that has been remixed and remastered from original multi-tracks by the group's engineer and co-producer Bruce Botnick. (KL/WN/MT)
