Home Prices Increase, Inventory Slips In Western WA

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The Western Washington real estate market seems to be continuing its recovery from the recession.

Quoting the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, the "Puget Sound Business Journal" says home sales and prices were up and the inventory of homes on the market was down in Western Washington during October.

Sales numbers were up 26 percent over last October overall, with a 33 percent rise in King County.
