McKenna, Inslee Tied In New Poll



OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A new statewide independent poll shows Democrat Jay Inslee and Republican Rob McKenna are tied in their race for governor. 

The survey of 500 voters, conducted by Strategies 360, shows each candidate garnering 46 percent support, with so-called "leaners" included. 

The poll also shows President Obama leading GOP challenger Mitt Romney by a margin of 52 to 39 percent. 

Washington voters are also supporting measures to allow gay marriage, charter schools and legalized use of marijuana by adults.
