Last Day For “Feed The Need” KGMI Visits Lynden

LYNDEN, Wash. -- This is the last day for the community to come together to “Feed the Need” here in Whatcom County.

As of this morning we are at 182,067 pounds, closer to reaching our 300,000 pound goal. Today we visit the Lynden Project Hope food bank.

Director Jim Grennell, says he’s seen a lot of changes in the last couple of years.

Grennel says they are seeing a lot more seniors and especially younger moms, teenagers with babies.

You can still help feed the need, by dropping by cash or food donations to any Haggen or ICU locations.
