Paul Simon auctions off personal guitar lesson for charity
Music icon Paul Simon is auctioning off a private music lesson to raise money for his Children's Health Fund charity.
The "Graceland" singer will personally teach the lucky winner guitar or songwriting skills in a one-on-one session, and the lot - hosted on charity auction website CharityBuzz.com - had attracted bids of up to $10,000 on Tuesday.
Organizers of the sale hope the lesson with the multi-Grammy Award winner will raise $75,000.
Simon co-founded the Children's Health Fund in 1987 with paediatrician/child advocate Irwin Redlener to provide essential and innovative healthcare for children.
