Hackers Create Financial Crisis In Burlington

BURLINGTON, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The City of Burlington is scrambling for now after someone stole about one eighth of the city's $4 million general fund from Bank of America.

City Manager Bryan Harrison tells Channel Five the scheme was so sophisticated that no one's yet sure what happened.

All city workers and about 200 people on the Burlington sewer system have had to change their bank information.

Officials say they will recover the money.
