South American Airline Orders Boeing 737 MAXes

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Boeing is celebrating a new order for some of its 737-MAXes.

The South American airline GOL is taking 60 planes worth roughly $6 billion at list prices, though "Seattlepi.com" says GOL is probably getting big discounts.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes President Ray Conner says Boeing has been working with GOL since the airline got its start just 12 years ago.
