Banker Accused Of Faking Cancer, Swindling Tacoma Charity

TACOMA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A banker accused of stealing more than $1 million dollars from a Tacoma charity is now facing federal bank fraud charges.  

Federal prosecutors tell "Seattlepi.com" that Jeffrey R. Goodell swindled the Tacoma Rescue Mission by faking cancer.  

He was a loan officer at Northwest Commercial Bank.  

He is not currently jailed.  

Prosecutors say there are also three other suspects.
