Smashing Pumpkins' stage outfits stolen in Mexico

Smashing Pumpkins are in need of new stage clothes after their luggage was raided after their last tour stop in Mexico.

The "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" hitmakers returned to the U.S. this week after performing in Monterrey, Mexico on Sunday only to discover their suitcases had been improperly accessed.

Breaking the news to fans, frontman Billy Corgan tweets, "Bad news SP fans. All our stage clothes (except those in the wash) were stolen out of our cases from Mexico. Sad end to a great trip!"

However, the band is refusing to let the wardrobe issue disrupt their ongoing tour - the rockers will hit the stage as planned in Austin, Texas on Thursday night with a whole new set of clothes.
