Bomb Threat At Nooksack Middle School A Hoax

EVERSON, Wash. -- Students are back in class at Nooksack Valley Middle School after a bomb threat prompted an evacuation of the building.

A statement on the district’s website says 911 dispatch received a threat aimed at the school at about 8:30 this morning.

Buses carrying students were diverted to Nooksack Valley High School while police officers and a bomb sniffing dog checked the building, which was found to be safe.

Police have detained a suspect who hasn’t been identified.
