Forecaster Predicts Colder, Not Warmer Fall This Year

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A forecaster for "The Weather Channel" is going against conventional wisdom this year, saying this fall is going to be much colder than normal, not warmer.

Matthew Leach's forecast disagrees with most forecasters who say Seattle is headed for a warmer, drier El Nino winter this year after two cold, wet La Nina ones.

Leach's controversial forecast is on the "Forecasting Kitsap" blog.
