Managers say the fires could burn each other out or become more volatile.
The Wenatchee Complex and Table Mountain Complex fires have burned more than 70,000 acres.
Highway 97 north of Ellensburg, between Highway 970 and milepost 177 will close this morning from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
