Firefighters Continue To Battle Chelan County Wildfires

WENATCHEE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Officials say wildfires in Chelan County have hundreds of homes under threat.

What's now known as the Canyons wildfire is a merging of three separate fires.

Firefighters are battling dozens of other smaller blazes in what's being called the Wenatchee Complex, covering areas of Chelan and Okanogan counties.

Officials say the Canyons wildfire has scorched more than 1,000 acres.
