Motive Behind Arlington Sniper Not Yet Determined

ARLINGTON, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office says investigators have not determined why Robert Endrizzi fired shots at neighbors in Arlington last Sunday before he died in a shootout with police.

A man in his 20s was shot in the leg while standing in his driveway, and deputies say two vehicles in the area were hit by bullets.

Endrizzi, a 60-year-old disabled Army veteran, was shot to death by law enforcement officers.

Sheriff's office spokeswoman Shari Ireton says detectives have found no notes or other evidence that would reveal Endrizzi's motive.
