Bellingham Police Search For Sexual Assault Suspect

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Bellingham Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a sexual assault suspect.

Police spokesman Mark Young says a 25-year-old barista was about to open the Lakeway Cruisin’ Coffee early Saturday morning when a man attacked her.

Young says the suspect grabbed and groped the woman while pulling at her clothes and pushing her down.

The victim was able to fight off her attacker and received only minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man with a medium build, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Anyone with information is urged to call Bellingham police.
