Man Accused Of Threatening President Appears In Court

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A Federal Way man accused of sending the FBI an email containing a threat to kill President Obama makes his initial appearance in federal court.

Prosecutors allege that 31-year-old Anton Caluori sent the email, which included his home address, to an general purpose FBI address and challenged agents to, quote, "get here now."

Caluori was taken into custody Tuesday at his apartment, where investigators say he raised and pointed a shotgun at a Secret Service agent and a Federal Way police officer, who wrestled him to the ground.

Officials say police seized an arsenal of ammunition and weapons at Caluori's apartment, including an AK-47-type rifle, a .45-caliber handgun, and a Bushmaster AR15 rifle.
