Everett Man Arrested After Parrot Stabbed To Death



EVERETT, Wash.  (Metro)  -- An Everett man faces charges after being accused of stabbing his girlfriend's parrot to death with a serving fork. 

Police say the 63-year-old man allegedly committed the act Sunday night after becoming upset with his girlfriend's plans for the couple to have dinner with friends. 

The man, whose name has not been released, was booked for investigation of first degree animal cruelty and second degree malicious mischief.
