Bellingham Costco Facebook Page Comes Down

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- The creator of a Facebook page titled “Bellingham Costco needs a special time just for Americans” is taking the page down.

The page had become an international sensation with its complaints that Canadian shoppers clogged the store and its gas station, and many commenters bashed Canadians as being rude.

In a posting yesterday the unidentified page administrator said it’s being taken down because it made its point and not for legal reasons.

The page had gained more than 4500 “likes”.
